Idea: Ships and Outside World Faction introduction

Postby JianWen » Tue Sep 02, 2014 3:49 am

This is a discussion on the introduction of new "ships", particularly into the Outside World.
These are legendary and elusive (air)ships that have gained sentience whether through faith, vengeance, regret or other matters.
There are a few here and there throughout the world. Some are modern, some are ancient. Yet, they all managed to withdraw from society and elude the attention of both human and youkai. Some are more willing to have contact, others might not.

The ships in question I'm planning on introducing....

Also, perhaps introducing Qing Shi as a person/faction in the Outside World?
Qing Shi was a famous and powerful female Chinese pirate during the 18th-19th century. She gathered a group of 20,000 to 100,000 pirates that included women and children. Village, cities, and even small kingdoms would pay her tribute and taxes. She had over 300-500 ships in her fleet and would challenge the British, Qing, and Dutch empires of the time, raiding and evading capture even to retirement.
